Overlocked v.s. Bound Seams
Hong Kong Seams:
The "Hong Kong seam" is one of the most premium seam finishes, a favourite in the prestigious British tailoring world on Saville Row in London, as well as in both French and Italian couture. The exquisite "Hong Kong seam" is used in our Petal Capri Trousers.
It is best suited for unlined garments, and could be used as a way to incorporate tasteful, subtle details that create visual interest.
